Jolly Lette Memorial Ride

The NEEEC committee put together another successful ride, running the Jolly Lette Memorial at Santerana Park, Scottsdale on the 23rd August. The weather was fantastic as was the course, providing excellent riding conditions, resulting in 100% successful completion rates for the 24 riders in the non-competitive 5km, 20km & 40km events. A fabulous introduction to our sport for 7 of these riders participating for their first time, well done and we hope to see you back.

There were 44 starters in 80km ride which had an 84% successful completion rate. The Jolly Lette Memorial Shield was jointly won in 4 hours & 24mins, shared 4 ways between Lauren Rattray, Kirstie Lockhart, Shannon Hill & Jillinda Aitchison. The highly regarded Best Conditioned horse winners were:
Middleweight- Tonki Dee Boo Henrietta ridden by Jillinda Aitchison
Heavyweight- Performance Park Valentino ridden by Porcha Stafford
Lightweight- Undurra Sahara ridden by Brooke Wall
Junior - Lockleigh Park X’treme ridden by Laren Rattray

Special congratulations to Kenzie Ratttay on her first 80km ride and Melissa Steward who achieved  a decade partnership with her mare Harmony.
